Hi Fissurevshems,
Sorry to hear your feeling this pain but it sounds normal to me I had Botox twice before having LIS recently. I had that pressure feeling where I couldn't stand for longer than 5 mins & when I sat down & put pressure on it, it went away. Also when I went for a walk I got terrible pressure too so I took it very easy till Botox kicked which will probably be 2/3 wks. Just give yourself sometime relax & take it easy. The skin tag is a sore procedure too & the whole area will be swollen, it will get easier!!
Take care :)

Thanks for the replies! I will call the CRS tomorrow and explain to him how I am feeling. It sounds like this feeling is similar to what others have experienced. Alternatively could it be possible that the toxin leached out into the pelvic muscles paralyzing the rectal support structures? Has anyone ever developed mild rectal prolapse after botox therapy? I havent seen this complication in the literature.

I had the same feeling for some time after botox, but it sounds like mine wasnt as bad as yours. I also had more hanging out (rectal prolapse?), but it seems like its decreasing now, nearly 11 weeks after botox.
- Fissure developed in Jan '13
- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.
- Got botox Jun '13
- Healed by Okt '13, although I still had some irritation for about a year.
- New fissure April '22, healed June 2022
- New fissure 24. December 2023

I have had that feeling on numerous occasions.... Even before my Botox.... It just feels like everything is prolapsing out.
It's not nice... And I hope it will pass... These things usually do.

I'm now 14 days post botox and over the last couple of days I have been getting a similar feeling. I feel like I have a large weight attached to my rectum.

Looks like I found some kindred spirits...Had Botox 9 days ago and just had a chat with my CRS about how it feels like "there is a brick in my pants".....same pressure, weighted feeling when I walk, not bad sitting of lying down. I didn't have tags removed but that may be my next step, as it seems like I have a ring of them surrounding the opening....quite annoying and can be irritating so I try and stay scrupulously clean after movements
But I have been at work since two days post injections and want badly to exercise. CRS says its OK... and BTW I had this because my LIS---which I felt a Godsend in 2010----did not cure me and fissure came back late last year. Much milder but still quite annoying, and so while doing thorough exam under GA, my CRS decided to hit it with Botox. To tell the truth, probably would not have done it if I knew how it felt (some gas incontinence which is weird--didn't happen with LIS)
So yes, its perfectly normal--- hang in there!
