You need to see a Colon and Rectal Surgeon. The only excellent one I know of (and he only treats adults) is Mr. A. Windsor, but you could possibly email his secretary and they might be able to suggest a specialist for children. I don't live in London however I do travel there quite a bit . Which hospital is he in may I ask ?

So I went to see Mr Windsor today. He said it is an anal papilla, just as Chacha suggested. He would not recommend doing anything about it, definitely not surgery unless there is a strong reason, because women have short anal canal ...

Mr. Windsor would appear to be one of the best in the UK, from what I have heard. Wish I could have seen him four years ago when I did not even know what an anal fissure was.

Depending on where you are in the UK, there is a great CRS in London - Mr. Windsor. A few of our members have seen him.
