I had advanced anal flap done 6 weeks ago ,I went back to see the doctor today who said it looks like its healing nicely but I have another fissure to the side of the flap .has anyone else experienced this and did you have to have more surgery.

I can't help sorry but I got a second fissue from having Botox but it healed within 7 day hopefully yours will do the same it's not chronic just acute at this stage so it has a good chance of healing, may I ask why the surgeon didn't want to do lis my surgeon didn't mention the flap procedure

He said it was because I have had 3 children and had to have stitches the area was weakened

Did you have the anal tone tested?

No they didn't do it because I was in pain when I saw him so they just said they would advanced flaps instead

What country do you live in? I'm in NZ an they didn't offer me that it's either Botox or lis here
