How long after surgery?

Sitz Baths

Did anyone's doctors tell them how long to do the sitz baths after surgery? My aftercare instructions just said to start them the night of my procedure. My LIS was 17 days ago. I'm still doing them at least 4 times a day. I'm just wondering how much longer I should keep doing them.
Status: LIS 20 Oct 2014, 2nd LIS 05 March 2018.

My instructions said to do so for 2 weeks, but I did them longer (about 4 weeks), just to be safe.
Fissure since about 2007
Fissure diagnosed in 2011
Diltiazem for two years - didn't work well
LIS January, 2015
Hemorrhoidectomy December, 2017
