I had the surgery 7.5 weeks ago and I haven’t had a single BM that has been completely pain-free since then. The pain is much more bearable than pre-surgery but I’m hoping it will continue to get better than this. I just had a re-tear today which has been devastating. I was expecting a quicker, less complicated recovery than what I’m getting.
