Success Story

Well, I saw the surgeon for my 1 month followup since the LIS surgery. I haven't had any fissure pain since before the surgery, so I was curious what he would say. After the wonderful exam he said that I was 100% healed. The fissure was completely gone. :D I don't have to see him anymore, unless I have any problems, and said to keep following my new diet with added fiber content to keep BM's nice and smooth. I hope more of you have the success have had! Thanks for the support!

Can I ask how long you had the fissure before you had surgery?

Well, for a long time I thought I had bad internal hemorrhoids, so looking back I'm guessing I originally had the AF probably close to 9 months. I wish I had seen the CRS much sooner, and maybe I wouldn't have suffered for so long.

I have no idea how far inside it was. I don't understand how people can see their fissures. I've never been able to get that good of a look at my anus. lol
