Toilet paper

Postby Deleted User 5 » 23 Feb 2007, 11:14

I noticed there was some discussion lately about the use of feminine/baby wipes...which I used before and right after my surgery.
But for the past three weeks or so, I've switched back to regular industrial-grade grocery-store budget toilet paper. Can't see that it's hurt me any (and it's surely cheaper and easier on the plumbing).
I was wondering if I'm the only one on the board, pre-and post surgery, willing to scrape rather than soothe, i.e., use toilet paper over moist wipes?

Sorry, Hugh, but I have to treat my butt like the princess it is and unless my kids had to go hungry I don't think I could ever switch back!:lolflag:

for the most part, all baby wipes can be flushed down and/or are biodegradable.
out of the huggies, target generic with aloe, and the charmin brand that i have tried, charmin is the one to beat!
the other day we tried to buy the "green environment" toilet paper and OMG...it was like wiping your ass with sandpaper!!!!!
no thanks.......

Well, I dunno, maybe I have a sandpaper ass! I honestly can't tell any difference than from during my pre-fissure ass!

As for biodegradible, the two brands I used both had warnings -- not to flush more than two at a time. Made me worry bout the old septic tank.
Plus, I'm an el cheapo, anyways!
