Hi Hun
I'm hoping that was the reason as really do not want that kind of pain every time my colon decides to chuck a tantrum.
I know it will take a while and honestly didn't expect to feel as decent as I have done but I also truly did not expect that amount of pain from 4 BMs....I mean what will happen when I have 6 or 8...proper scared now lol.
Here's hoping the colon co operates for once.

Hoping the same too. I guess the bowel movement frequency is evrybting for you. I think as the surgery heals the frequency of BM will come down too.
Have u been using any new techniques to make the stool more formed?
What about fiber? Remind me does that make it worse. The is a specific way to take the fiber to make stool more formed and left frequent but again I know your situation is different from mine

I had an absolutely awful night last night ended up going loads up till 3am spasms non stop pain a 10....
The psyllium has become much less reliable....I'm kind of resigning myself to this level of pain every few days or going for a colostomy to be honest as I don't see any other way.
Oh please yes if you know a way to take fibre to make stool formed and BM less frequent I will try anything right now.

Yes Hun they cut the muscle...I know they couldn't cut it the full length of my fissure so maybe that is why all I can say is my spasms are worse right now and not even the GTN stops them at the moment....it's too early to say whether LIS was worth it as I have IBD and IBS so was told it could take a while to heal. I'm sure if you don't have any other things going on LIS would work brilliantly

It's the rectogesic cream that always used to help me

Yes that would be the next option as the reason it's not working is the frequency the consistency and the acidity of my stools so the only way to combat that is a colostomy....I will give this 3/4 months before I start to make my decision though
