Green Discharge Post LIS

Postby Titanius » 29 Jun 2016, 11:48

Hi All
I had LIS two weeks ago, everything went well, recovery has been going well, less painful than I had expected.

But, in the past few days I started have a small amount of greenish discharge. Worried about infection I went to see my CRS. He looked (very superficially, not sure he even touched me), and said everything looked fine, no infection, no need for antibiotics.

I continue to have the green discharge - I don't have a fever and pain is not increasing but I'm still worried about infection (that could result in an abscess).

Has anyone else had green discharge that cleared up on its own? Looking for some reassurance that this may just be normal healing process.

For those who got antibiotics for green discharge, what antibiotic and for how long?

Thanks - T
