LOL! NG it sounds like you're becoming a "poopologist" - one who studies poo! Image

You know if this whole computer programming thing doesn't work out... It'll go on my resume under "other skills" :)
Honestly I used to try not to look at the poo whenever I went. But now I'm examining that thing like it's the most interesting thing I've ever seen. File this one away under "confessions of a fissure sufferer".

This particular poo should be the goal of all fissure sufferers. It's the combination of the "ghost poop" and the "frozen yogurt poop" -- has the soft friendly consistency of frozen yogurt, yet escapes with nary a peep, sometimes not even noticeable by the dispenser. It's the spitting image of that magical atoll of poops that I've had some success achieving with Miralax and my soft poop regimen lately!

I should add that this is minus all the flies buzzing around it.

When your twins are born, your head (and eyes) will be in a better place, Chen.... Image

I shall photograph and catalog their poops by age and save an album for when they're older. If you thought your friends being shown your baby photos was embarassing...

Interesting follow-up on the FiberSure thing. When I first heard about it a few days ago (thanks Tracy!), I went to Walgreens and saw it on the shelves. I didn't buy it at the time because I wasn't convinced I wanted to try it.
Then yesterday I thought what the heck, I'll give it a go, and went to Safeway, but didn't find it there. I did see something called Metamucil Clear & Natural in a very similar package.
I just did a quick search and it turns out they may in fact be the same thing:

Just thought I'd post this in case anyone else is on the hunt for it. I think I'm going to go back to Walgreens today, see if they still have FiberSure, and pick up a bottle and compare its ingredients with Metamucil Clear & Natural to make sure they are indeed one and the same, just because I'm anal (pun unintentional) like that.

Thanks for posting that. I'd heard that FiberSure was the way to go but couldn't find any! Now I know what to look for.

No problem, busymom. I picked up some Metamucil Clear & Natural and plan to give it a go this weekend. I figure if it doesn't turn out well I can recover at home. Probably going to try it out on some baked fish or boca burgers, the first non-boiled food I'll be having since weeks ago, yay!
