Hey Sidra,
That's great to hear! I was kind of wondering what happened when your last post was "I just started Flagyl" and then you went quiet :) I'm looking forward to the game this Saturday, too, for once we actually have a Mizzou game on TV here in Cali. Thank you ESPN! I'm probably going to miss the first half, though, as I scheduled a car seat safety inspection for the exact time the game starts, DOH!

Twins are due in a few weeks and it was the only appointment I could get. Priorities first, though, of course. I fully expect to come back from the appointment, turn on the tube, and see the Tigers up by at least 3 TDs!
I'm doing alright, so far I've had relatively smooth poops, much better than 2 weeks ago. It still sucks when I have to go a few times in a row, but compared to the agony I was in weeks ago, this is infinitely more manageable. I'm actually supposed to be at a follow-up CRS appointment right now, but I rescheduled it for a week from today because of the recent improvements, and figured I'd use the extra time to see if I'm actually making progress or if the fissure is just faking me out. I'm still dropping weight which is a concern to me even though the fissure symptoms are less severe now.
So what've you got going on for mocktails? Are we thinking more like O'Douls or more along the lines of virgin mai tai's and margaritas? The few times I've been *forced* to drink mocktails, I've found virgin mojitos to be pretty acceptable, the minty flavor from the leaves give me that placebo buzz. And of course daiquiris too, but being a dude I don't know if I'd have the cajones to be seen sipping on one at a football game :) Hopefully the LIS and fissure won't stop you from enjoying the BBQ, hot dogs and other stuff at the tailgate!
Have fun in St. Louis, I haven't been back to Missouri since I left 21 years ago, but my wife and I have been thinking about popping back there for a long weekend sometime to check out my childhood stomping grounds and see how they hold up against my fond memories. Part of wants to go see the place again, but part of me wonders if it's best left the idyllic way my mind remembers it...
