Went to the docs this morning as I can not go to the loo it just wont come and I dont want to push too much so he gave me Laxido he said it would sort things out for me but I dont know how long it takes to work and as anyone here tried it my doc seems to think it is one of the best ...but I took it over 2 hours ago and I still cant go is this right

Hi Susan, Laxido is a brand name of movicol (and there's lots of threads about movicol here). It does take a little while to work first of all, but when it does (assuming you take it every day) it will keep everything nice and soft.
I found taking 2 sachets a day (one morning and 1 night), and missing one every 5 days, kept everything right for me. You may have to adjust the dosage to suit you and your diet.
In the mean time, I'd recommend prune juice (if you can stomach it) to get things moving.
