this is getting so deppressing to have this problem all the time and never get better. since i had the first anal fissure i dont think that i felt well for 2 weeks even though the crs told me i was healed? i just dont know what it feels like to be normal anymore cause i always have butt pain.. i really really need to find a crs that knows what they are doing, but i have no idea how to pick a good crs in this area. crs number 1 the women was ok gave me nitro but she told me i am healed and i have continued to have pain. crs number 2 didnt even look inside and told me i have hemmroids and to follow a fiber diet. it is so hard to even look forward to the holidays with this condition. grrr.. i am just venting cause i am in pain and just am at a standstill what to do anymore... tired of butt pain~~

I can't believe that a CRS didn't even examine u n claimed it's hems! gosh mayb u can state where r u staying n probably one of the boardies has a CRS to recommend?

i live in ohio. i have been researching trying to find another crs that is good but having a hard time finding someone that is close enough. i am driving 2 hours now to the crs and just dont have the gas money to drive any futher..

my butt hurts so bad tonight i feel like going to the er room for some pain meds, i know they wont rx anything worth a dang. i just dont know if i can hang on till wednesday this is really killing me.......

i totally understand your pain jenny... could u take sitz bath as often as possible? Try ice pack? Or hot pad? do u have aloe vera? it's smoothing, try chill it before u apply, it can take some pain off... pls hang on! apply the nitro cream which ur crs has prescribed too, the worst shall be over soon ok.

I don't know where in Ohio you are, but I have found a good CRS in the Dayton area. Unlike the general surgeon I saw before, he listens and really seems to understand the pain. Let me know if you would like is contact info.

i am near columbus area. that is to far for me. thanks though. i am just going back to the women i saw on wed, but i am also calling tomm the man i was going to go see 2 weeks ago and getting a appt with him incase the women does not help me. i am getting very upset with this..

I understand. It gets frustrating. I have a birthday party to go to today; however, my attendance is entirely dependent upon how I feel after BM, and Thanksgiving... If it was within my insurance network, I would find a CRS at OSU.
