Doing better... fingers crossed

Postby pat123 » 24 Feb 2012, 12:44

Just a little positive news for everyone
My chronic fissure seems to be under control (fingers crossed) with Miralax and diet control. This bad boy has been giving me blood and a small amount of pain during BMs for about 3 months.
Saw a CRS and he said that the fissure was small and on the outside... prescribed Diltiazem treatments and said to put it on a qtip and push it into the anal passage, which i pretty much don't do because i'm scared of doing additional damage.
Had one bigger BM about a week ago and got some blood and pain, but since then, BMs are small and controlled and toothpasty... no pain, no blood.
Hope to keep this up for a few more weeks and see if I can get this durn thing to heal. Fingers crossed and determined to NOT get sloppy.
take care and feel better, all! :D
