Went to the doctor with what she said was thrombos hemorrhoids which she proceeded to lance, sit me out on her sidewalk to drive myself home and more or less I had to threaten her to refer me to a CR surgeon who told me they were abscessed fissures not hemorrhoids. He cleaned them up, did a LIS and cut off skin tags. A month later I had another abcess which led to a third surgery to do a seaton stitch for a fistula. The LIS was the most sucessful thing I had done and I believe that I would have had many more problems if it had not been done. GET A GOOD DOCTOR if you choose to go that route. An old school guy who had done a million of these was who I chose. LIS is an old standard that is know as a gold standard. Like my Daddy said if some thing works don't F*** with it. Hang in there.Don't think too much and get out of your head. The sky is beautiful outside and the bird are chirping. Go see:)

Jack maniac good luck, keep up with what you are doing. Hope they can sort out the colitis. Do they give you meds for it?
Sterling bird, you have been through it! I have Botox next week, but I am scared it won't work. So then I will need to have LIS anyway? Who knows. Just wish I could have an end to all of this.

They do depending on how extensive it is. My sister has it throughout her colon and is on pills for life. Mine right now is only at the rectum and a small area near my appendix, so I might be ok with suppositories. Still not completely convinced it's that though, cause I've never had blood with diarrhea; nor does it explain the bleeding stopping with the miralax.
