Hi PButt, my Doctor also said I was pretty raw on the inside after a double fissurectomy skin tag removal & Botox. I don't think mine has kicked in yet. I'm hoping it'll be in the next couple of days because I'm due back to work next week.
We're you told how soon the Botox would kick in?

hi wdf! no doc didnt say when its suppose to kick in i think its maybe different for everyone. im sure ur still sore after a double fissurectomy. my doc had said that he might remove my skin tag but he didnt end up doing it just injections were given. dont b going back to soon i know its hard i had to take unpaid leave when i was really bad at the start of the year because of this thing id used up all my sick leave. but its more important to heal urself. fingers, toes and skin tag crossed for u the botox kicks in soon :-)

Hi WDF, my Botox took 2-3 wks to kick it, I had hems banded and Botox. No fissurectomy. I think the Botox reacts and lasts different times in each person. My CRS said some people get full effect for 6 weeks, some 3 months and some reports of up to a year! Keep going both of you. Puzzled Butt, your posts cheer me up every day when I read them! Your wee comments are funny!
Hem Banding sept 2012

July 2014-Diagnosed High Resting Pressure
LIS performed on 17.9.14
Ongoing pain/re-tears. Awaiting pressure test results.

That's great news PButt! Stick to your diet! Drink lots of water and don't fall off the wagon - it'll all be worth it in the end.
I had a falling BM yesterday and it was spectacular. Movicol you little beaut!
