www.hemoclin.com
HemoClin is an over-the-counter product and available from all good pharmacies and retailers across Europe and Asia-Pacific.
In the UK HemoClin is available from Boots Stores or online via www.expresschemist.co.uk
In Ireland HemoClin is available in pharmacies and online via Sam McCauley Chemist.
The top medicinal ingredientis Aloe Barbadenis gel 40% w/w.(although the ingredient's aren't listed on the website, you can contact them for it.)
The tube of gel that I purchased at my local drugstore comes in a blue, white and red box, your's mite be different, but same ingredient's.  Now it wont replace our Nitro/xylicaine or other ointment that is prescribed by your Doctor.
My pharmacist recommended it in between the ointment/compound prescribed by my Doctor.
She suggested using it as a lubrication before a BM and after to sooth the area, I still use my nitro at night, to bring the blood to the area to heal it.
You can probably find it in Boot's Drugstores in the UK, I found it in the Shopper's Drug Mart in Toronto.

I tried using this product and it did nothing the help me. I found aloe vera gel or ky lubricating gel was as good and a lot cheaper.

The product helps me especially before a B.M ..But I never thought of using ky jelly, will try that too, why not.. I practically have a drugstore going on in my home..lol.
The product in Canada is $14.00, not bad, I will try the ky and maybe alternate if it's cheaper, just to save money and prolong the product. :)

I also found KY gel and loo paper was good for cleaning up after BM rather than using wipes especially if out and about and cannot use a bidet or shower. Better than the aqueous cream I was recommended. Cool and soothing and designed for use in such delicate areas:D

I am glad that Hemoclin is o.k. for you.
I was looking for something with aloe, so I do not have to buy expensive fresh leaves, and I bought Hemoclin (it costs nearly 17 Euro here). But unfortunately it causes me very severe burning. I was lucky to put it just before BM, so it comes out quickly and I was saved. It was not the first "soothing" compound that causes me more pain. I wonder what is wrong with me. How is it possible to have such sensitive inner parts. I have to stick with fresh aloe and extra virgin coconut oil. :( . And I think it is not o.k. that the producer do not list the ingredients on the web site. I remember that they just emphasize aloe, pure aloe. Beside aloe it contains other ingredients like laureth-9, potassium phosphate, sodium hidroxyde and others.
Disabling burning, drilling pain in anal area for almost a year, started after UT infection. Small anal fissure diagnosed, turned out it is probably not the cause of pain, MRI shows no inflammation or fistula. Grateful to forum members for support.

It drives me crazy. We share similar diagnosis, but we react so differently to treatment. I can tolerate aloe gel just fresh from the plant and I must not put it too deep. I tried bottled aloe juice (without preservatives) and it was not good.
OMB is there anything for you that you are not sensitive to?

I wasted money on aloe and coconut oil too, which both burned on my skin. We are all so different. Only a bit of Vaseline works for me...and my Sitz bath!

I can use baby's bum cream a bit..... Sudocream, and an organic one called earth mama angel baby bottom balm. I have just started on rectogesic and so far I feel sore from that.. And whopping headaches.. But will try and persevere for a bit.
Vaseline is ok too. I just find that my bottom doesn't tolerate anything much anymore.

How about you??? Anything apart from the fresh aloe??
