Back to work on Monday

Postby Zodiak » 04 Jan 2014, 17:57

Well unless there is a major change I will be back to work on Monday after being off for nearly 4 months.
Thanks for all the support that people have given me here me and it helped me adopt a far more positive attitude.
I only wish I had found this earlier, the tricks and ideas I read here would have literally knocked weeks off the time it took me to get this to an acceptable level.
:thanx: :thankyou:
I can't say that I am cured, it still hurts occasionally but so long as I am not silly about what I eat and drink LOADS of water most days are uncomfortable and not painful, which I now put in the win column.

Congratulations, Zodiak, that is wonderful news.
Hopefully you will continue to heal and improve, and the discomfort will get less and less over time.
You may have good days and bad days, but the bad days should get fewer and fewer as time goes on.

I think all CRS's should know about this site, and recommend it, because there is so much here you never hear from a doctor or nurse.

Keep up the good work!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!

Thanks, I old my GP and e seemed interested but didn't write it down.
My old GP used to print out fact sheets when you had something wrong with you, but this one doesn't do it, which is a shame.
