trying to get a basic fissure data set together, please read

Postby Fissurefrustration » 13 Feb 2015, 06:58

Hi all,

sorry for the multiple posts I'm just trying to get to the 'bottom' of everything.

I was just wondering as a group to get a rough data set when do you get your pain? on/after BM? or is it with you all day? etc etc. it would be helpful to know if the fissure is chronic or not also.

I will start! so my fissure was chronic but apparently is healed according to my CRS however I get pain a few hours after BM and pain when I walk at times, almost like an irritated tugging pain. it's bearable however I don't want this forever!!

thanks in advance for your replies.

Ok..... So I have healed from a chronic fissure but still have intense pain.
My pain starts 10-20 mins after my bm. Bms are usually not painful.
My pain is near enough all the time... But is worse on sitting and when I have to stand around. Walking is not so bad.

I have a chronic fissure, though I can tell its healed somewhat from where I was a few months ago.

My pain starts when I know I'm about to have a BM. It's worst through when the stool begins to pass (sharp/stabbing type)... after that it is more of a burning and fades into an ache. The burning/ache phase is sometimes only a few minutes, other times its a couple of hours.
-Fissure since August 2014 after diarrhea and antibiotics
-Using diltiazem, baths, ibuprofen, magnesium, high fiber diet/supplements, probiotics, coconut oil, cleaning with water & wipes only
-LIS & skin tag removal scheduled for late January 2015
