Unsure and Scheduled for Surgery in 2 days

Postby dontworry » 09 Jan 2013, 11:33

Hi, I'm Female, 39 years old and scheduled to have surgery in 2 days. Was Unsure about what to expect before, during and after the procedure. I called the nurse and she told me not to plan on going to work next week and no driving because of pain medication. I had no idea!! Thought it might be some microscopic and I'd be back to usual the next day. So glad I found this forum and would really appreciate any advice on what to have prepped for after the procedure considering I will most likely be laid up. Thanks!

IMO, this is the best thread on what to expect after surgery:

For me, the surgery really was a breeze. Are you having your surgery done by a board-certified colorectal surgeon (CRS)?
