No my friend - I don't feel any better either Image . It looked somewhat better last night and I hoped it started to heal but this morning I was "reminded" that fissures do not die so fast Image. Anyway - have to hope - LOL- what else is left ??? I completely understand how you forget to ask - my brain goes in self induced coma any time I have CRS exam. I stay dazed for hours after too Image - unbelievable what one little hole can do to a person Image .
I am glad to hear that your CRS has a new idea of how to approach your problem. It does not sound like big procedure in that is great my buddy !!!
I am still in a limbo - "to cut, or not to cut" - that is the question Image .
Take care buddy - maybe till the end of the summer you will heal by yourself Image !
XOXO

sorry to hear about the surgery Val. on the bright side though, at least he didn't reinjure you by forcing a looksee. I go dumb when in drs offices too. I forgot to ask the one question I wanted to ask yesterday, which is how much longer might it take to heal....a fruitless question, I know, but i was more hoping he would be able to give me a report of the progress I've made. Oh well....
Hope you feel better soon. You too, Fiss.

Hi Val,
Hope you dont mind me asking but, What did your consultant mean by a sensitivity to the diltiazem?
Or did you not ask, which is total understandable !!!

Tabby, I was using the diltiazem for ages and it was fine and then one day, bam, it itched absolutely unbearably like nothing I'd ever known! I've had itching there before and it wasn't pleasant but this was out of this world horrible so thats how he knew I was sensitive or intolerant to it!

Yeah, same happened to me first time around : (. I think it is because they make capillaries to dilate so much that it causes pruritus ani. I have small discomfort now and I pray to God that it does not escalate before I heal Image !!!
