Val,
You've probably gone by now since you are 8 hours ahead of us, but hoping your appointment went well for you and that you were given GOOD NEWS.

Image Image you're so sweet, you guys, thank you!

He said he's booked the surgery in and its "in the system somewhere!" It will be before the end of the summer, although he said it shouldn't be too long away. I reckon if I'd have gone to the private hospital it would have been almost immediately, but oh well, I've saved a couple of thousand pounds so who cares about a little wait! He did say he couldnt see any sign of a fistula/abcess, which is good news. So I'll just have to play the waiting game and worry about it for a couple of months!I've also got to try nitro again as I developed major sensitivity to the diltiazem.

Oh my buddy, I am so sorry that you really need the surgery :( , I hoped that antibiotics did the job by themselves Image . Did he ever said what he plans to do ? Is your sphincter too tight like mine Image Image Image ???
I wish he could take you in immediately and fix whatever he had to fix - waiting is so hard - voluntary or not Image. Try Nitro - I am using it now alternatively with Nefidipine. You might get small headache but it is not bad - Tylenol takes it away in seconds.
I am glad you survived exam - it is big task in itself buddy !!! Hope you are not in too much of discomfort - take "a dip" - tub is now mine best friend too- except people here , of course :_):
Take care and write us soon again !!!

thank you!

he just said he was going to put me to sleep in order to get a good look which he couldnt do if I was awake, and he may just need to do some injections- I assume by that he meant for internal hemmies, but I didnt ask- duh! I never seem to ask the right questions!

How are you today Fissy? Hope you're feeling a bit better, buddy!
