Wanted to follow-up as it seems a lot of folks either move on or are too shy to share their own experience. It took two months following surgery before I could fully partake in and enjoy receptive anal sex again. Several weeks prior I was able to have sex, but there was still some discomfort. The critical piece for me was a partner who understood the importance of going slow and the fear attached to re-tearing. I also found anal-eeze helped reduce some of the initial sensation that causes me to tense up, which is counter-productive as the goal is to relax. I wish everyone luck with their journey.
