Lee,

I was hoping that you were doing well too; I unfortunately remain the same... I just got a nerve block yesterday and am very sore in the tailbone area today. I am also seeing two new pelvic floor physical therapists that perhaps could offer me more insight on my condition "pelvic floor dysfuction" = tight muscles cause triggers points which cause pain. Eliminating these so called "trigger points" is a lot of work. I am also scheduled for more Botox in march...

Glad to hear you've improved some Lee,

I've improved slightly. I'm not where I'd like to be. But, I'm grateful for less severe issues than I'd been having. I don't think it's the Dilitiazem necessarily. I think it's just time. I've been suffering with my severe symptoms since September (and more mildly on/off for several years). I guess it took a few years of ignoring the issue and dealing with short term milder symptoms for it to finally get serious for me.

I hope both you and Alyssa find some relief!

Alyssa,

I was hoping that you were improving by now and I still hope that the nerve block provides at least some relief for you. I wonder why you are not getting better? That is the million dollar question, isn't it? Holding out hope that you get that breakthrough or at least more relief from each day that goes by.

I had a number of good days until today. Things were better, but I think that I did too much and was on my feet too long. Like normal people would do.

Hang in there and I still he you get better.

Pained,

Glad to hear that you are at least a little better. Hoping you can really make some progress, though.

I think that the medication - at least for me - is not doing anything. I don't get into holistic remedies or anything like that, but I also can't say that all of these drugs are not total bullshit. I feel better not taking anything and being careful in some circumstances. Maybe that's my best bet. Who the hell knows.

Good luck and I really hope you get better soon.

I had another appointment today... The new physical therapist suggesred that it might be my tailbone causing me this anal pain.. They have ordered an MRI... I don't know what else to think or do. No one knows what's causing the pain.. There just trying all these different things and nothing seems to work; I hope this physical therapist is on to something though because this has been a journey; a pain in the ass (literally).

Alyssa,

I'll say an extra one for you tonight that it is indeed something like that. It wouldn't surprise at this point that it could be something that everyone overlooked. Best of luck and let us know.

Nothing new for me, just a bit more pain this last week. Not fun and fairly discouraging.
