Hi JHH, I am rooting for you. It is early days yet, you will continue to get better each day. Fingers crossed.

2Fissures
Nitro- Effective short term
April 2013-Botox-Effective short term
Diltazem-No effect, developed Rash
July 2014-Diagnosed High Resting Pressure
LIS performed on 17.9.14
Ongoing pain/re-tears. Awaiting pressure test results.

Day 7
Very soft BM this morning. No pain, just some irritation.
Seems botox or the doctor has caused my tags/piles/whatever to be more outside. Dont know how to explain, but its like what was inside before is hanging outside now. Not sure if its the botox, or its from the doc messing around down there, but I feel more irritation from walking now.
No incontinence whatsoever, and no trouble holding gas.
- Fissure developed in Jan '13
- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.
- Got botox Jun '13
- Healed by Okt '13, although I still had some irritation for about a year.
- New fissure April '22, healed June 2022
- New fissure 24. December 2023

Day 8
BM still very soft. No pain. Still all kind of funny sensations during the day. Right now Im a happy camper. Even got to mow the lawn today :D

Glad it's going well for you, JHH. I believe that it is fairly common with botox to irritate any hemmies that might be around, though I have never had botox...do have the hemmies though.

Day 9
Best day in 4.5 months since I got my fissure. Im painless, and hardly notice it. YES!!!
Thanks Savaici, I guess you could be right. Time will tell is it gets better.

Had a little irritation today, but painfree. BM still perfect consistency. No complaints...

Day 11
Had pizza yesterday, and formed BM today. This is the first time with formed BM since botox. Its pretty scary, but now it will be interessting to see how much I will be punished... C'mon botox, save my ass!

OK, I messed it up. Im back in burning spasms. Guess botox does not work wonders. I will need to keep my BMs very soft. What a bummer :(
