Not spoke to the CRS recently abut surgery, but as you can imagine he suggested Botox, then LIS. I'll be able to get an appointment at short notice if I need one. If I go down this route I don't want it inspected, I want Botox or LIS as soon as possible.
I'll have to see what tomorrow brings as it's my last healing week on Nitro starts this week - 5 weeks since the tear today.

CrackinUP, interesting that my doctor doesn't use Botox he said is worthless.
Cream and LIS if the fissure is chronic, like mine, he also do not remove tags, he said they are just skin.
So the reason I have not gotten LIS is not because unwillingnessness of the doctor but mine.
My doctor have over 30 years experience as a CRS, so is not that I don't trust him either he has an impressive record.
I am just scare. Image
Have you thought about getting a second opinion?

No, although I have decided if I don't heal in the 6-8 week time period that I will want surgery. I want my life back basically.
I'm more scared of living like this forever than I am of a silly medical procedure. I've had one before, it's not so bad you know. You shouldn't be scared of it as it's designed to help. :)

I've just found a lump just inside my rear end! It's not big but you can push it, and seems a bit tender. I don't think it's my skin tag but can these swell up? If so are they hours of dull, aching pains?
I guess it's an external hem, which means I have double trouble down there FFS.
Does anyone know how to reduce pain on either of these possible lovelies? My life is complete. Thank you anus!

Looks like its not my skin tag. I am 99% sure it's an external roid. So GOOD NEWS my fissure site is fine. But oh god, another issue down there.
Funnily enough I had this pain before my fissure tear. I've just read that external hems can put strain and cause fissures, so perhaps this bad boy caused the upset in the first place. I really have no idea what to do, other than if I lie on my side it does not hurt. Rubber ring? lol.
My body is falling apart from the rear end outwards.... Image

Shocking how much our symptoms matches...
Im lying on my side too right now. Day started fine, but for the last 4 hours I have been in pain. This is unusual for me, since most days start bad, and get better. I think maybe I sat too much.
Im pretty sure I have a hem AND a fissure, both located right in the rear. I think when my hem swells up, it strains the fissure, and gives me pain.
All this is just theory since I was to cramped up to have a colonopscopy, but I can feel something in there that feels hard. And when I have the feeling of fullness, thats when I feel it the most.

So sorry to hear that now you have to deal with a hem beside the fissure.
For years I thought that I had an external hems by the way that my sentinel pile used to swell up.
But then my doctor told me that I don't have external hems and only a very small one in the inside.
Yes tags can get swollen and painful mine used to get that bad.
But now since the fissure is doing better is nothing but skin.

I think I'll have to go back and see the CRS, but I have found what looks like an external hem. I did apply some more Nitro to see if it would help and as it happens, it did nothing in terms of pain relief. I have never not been able to relieve the pain with Nitro, so I am guessing it's a hem.
I actually think fissure wise I might be pain free! God only knows what I do with this latest finding. It's a little bulge which I can push and it feels tender. My fissure is quite far inside so I don't think it's anything to do with that. Lie down pain goes away, sit on my seat pain comes back. I sit down for a living so this could be worse than the fissure in terms of impact on my life. I never once had an issue sitting down with the fissure, other than when in spasms, in which case any position was horrific!

I would call doc crackin, but be careful as they will give steroid cream and suppositories, which can irritate the Fissure. Think this made my Fissure worse. Steroids thin the skin. I was banded to get rid of my Hem. I just hope and pray I haven't got any when I go under for the Botox. CRS is doing a camera as well.

When I sit or stand, Im having pain. When I lie down on my side, or walk, or cycle, pain is nearly not noticable.
Passing gas also feels good for me.
Sounds like a fissure, or a hem?
Can a hem cause spasms?
