When you say that you were not treated properly, what happened?

hi there BadAss. I had anoplasty after two failed attempts w. Botox. On about Day 4 of post-anoplasty recovery my stitches on one side popped open so the whole flap moved away from the fissure. Booh. Be prepared with a warm bath post BM as you may have post BM cramps that are addressed well with an epsom salts bath if your surgeon agrees. Also in Canada here - Vancouver. In the end what healed my fissure was Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

MB-YVR I am considering using a hyperbaric chamber. How many treatments did you have? How long were they? Do you know what type of hyperbaric chamber was used? Did you have any side effects? Did the facility that administered the treatment say that they had other successes? How long did you have your fissure? What else had you done(besides the botox)?

Hi Badass, love the name , not the pain. It seems that your Doctor really cares, he wants to perform the surgery with the least amount of pain and procedure to heal. It seems he is looking out for you a Good C R s is hard to find. He or she is a keeper. Good luck and to a speedy healing afterwards.
