After having pain and bleeding during and after using bathroom , saw my family Dr , I have a fissure , Dr gave me proctosedyl oinment , and stool softener , but I find metamucil works better , keeps things soft . Medicated wipes and heating pad help as well even though it's only been 5 days , the bleeding has stopped but my butt is still sore ,can't do sitz baths , hope things calm down eventually.

Was the pain intense? Or just an uncomfortable pain? Have you tried miralax? I love that stuff. It works wonders for me and the less bulky the stool, the less painful it is to pass. Hope you feel better soon.

Pain was bad before I saw the doctor , haven't tried miralax , between the stool softener and adding the fiber supplement and heating pad seems to be helping , no more bleeding during/ after going so that is a good sign although my butt is still tender although yesterday I only had some slight pain afterwards that only lasted for a min or two thank god. Not sure if I been having these spasms that I have been reading about on here , and changing diet a bit is helping .
