We will all have the most examined colons in the world. Don't give up hope because if you cannot get any answers or relief from any of your upcoming appointments, I think you should consider Mayos as they use the team approach for probs. Did you mail me something?????

:( Lecia, I'm so sorry you had to travel all that way and then be no further forward. Maybe the holistic DO/GYN wil have a better idea of whats going on. I hope the pain specialist will help - how long do you have to wait for the referral?
Its horrible you have to go through having a colonoscopy but if it shows up what is wrong it will be worth it. Sorry you're going through all this with no answers, it must be so frustrating I saw loads of different doctors when I had my thyroid problems and for 4 years I was fobbed off and given silly reasons for all my symptoms, but perseverence paid off (in the end!!) I had been right all along and they were the idiots who couldnt diagnose properly. So never give up, eventually there will be a clever doctor who will know exactly whats wrong

Thanks you guys! I appreciate your well wishes and support. The pain doctor in WF might take while but I do have an appt. with a physiatrist and the gyn next week so I still have some options who are at least closer to home.

Hey all dearest buddies here !!!
Just to report that I am doing OK, butt is not any worse than before the procedure and I thank God for that I pooped normally this morning - no diarrhea and it was a relief - my guts are back to normal (knock the wood) ! I occasionally look at my gut-photos and imagine cutting that damn fissure out with scissors and can't wait next week to have something done about it. I know that my butt will hurt more due to tag excision , but once it heals it should start behaving !!! I have to try to relax and now go with a flow - nothing will happen all by itself except some divine intervention happens while I sleep !
Lecia -baby - I am so sorry that your app. was not more productive :( :( - what CRS said about hematoma for god's sake ??? Don't they have at least some heparin or similar blood thinning agent to make it go away ???!!! JUST CRAZY . It is not like they can't see anything there . And what Gyn said ??? Is she going to do that MRI or laparoscopy ???? You know what - maybe you really should go to Mayo , what the heck - as Cheryl said - the whole team will check you out and will make a plan !
I am glad that you will go to that holistic doc - she might find the better way, anyway , you need different and new approach and she might be just what you need !!!
I hope that your trip was not horribly tiring buddy and that you have some rest today and some fun with your girls and Molly too. Never forget that you are not that pain - you are very special soul , special to all of us and all of your family and friends and God himself and that one day it just HAS to go away :tinky:
