Help! Diagnosis Needed!

Postby Ring0* » 23 Jul 2022, 07:31

Reaching out for suggestions: diagnosis and treatments.
I have had anal fissures for many years now and have tried muscle relaxant treatment as well as surgery whereby the doctor attempted to fuse the skin together. Most recently I have been trying a homeopathic oil and have come to the realisation that as one fissure seems to heal another one opens up. I have not read or heard of a similar occurrence or why this would happen.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be most grateful.

I think you should consult a colorectal specialist. You may need a colonoscopy to figure out the reason behind the recurring fissures. Good luck and take care.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy
