I'm still plodding along....... Same as ever. Have cut the recto down to just night time use, as it really stings my fissure. I'm just using the tiniest smear of Vaseline as a barrier during the day. Mountain range still flares up now and again. Everest has yet to be scaled!! Lol

I'm hoping I can try and keep things stable over Christmas.... I have a lot of social events on that are centred around eating and drinking! Good old movicol eh!!

Yes, OMB good old Movicol. Me too, Christmas is the worst time to have a Fissure.... I am just going to try and enjoy it. Xx

Do you use Rectogesic still, and how it is helping?

I'm still the same really.
I stopped using the rectogesic about three weeks ago, as it was stinging when I applied it, and the sting would last all day. I'm not using anything at the moment.
Have chased around for the appointment, which I still haven't had through.
Still a waiting game for me unfortunatly!!

Update.....

I have finally got an appointment for my anal resting pressure test to be done..... It's for Monday 10 th feb... With a follow up to discuss results on the 21st.
FINALLY!!

I will post updates as I go along.... But hopefully this is the start of my life being able to move forward. Maybe I can now look forward to the future!!
