Val, I can try to explain how I use animated GIFs, which include
Smilies
greetings that are animated:
other cartoon-type thingies
and short looping video clips....
They are all examples of animated GIFs, so you can do a google search for "Free animated GIfs" (no copyrighted ones here) and you can right click directly on the image and "save image as" and store it on your computer. I have to "host" most of the ones I use because they don't have the code and then ct and paste the links here. It is tedious, but other folks may have a simpler way of doing it.
