That is wonderful that you are getting the reassurances you need that you are moving forward with all of this. You are stronger than you know.

corsi and Tootie,Im not very good.Inspite of a good diet and movicol and magnesium,im having hard stools most of the times which scares the hell out of me.im not sure if its the stress of looking after my son, mainly his eating.he eats like a bird and doesnt bother.he's just eaten 2 small pots 50g youghurt, half cheese stick ,1bisciutand 5-6 spoons of rice the whole day.its been like this the last 1 week and im gettn worried.
i do think of you all.its snowing and very cold here.im trying to go to the gym atleast 4 days a week.its nice to go out and do something normal people do.

How old is he?
Take him to the doctor, and ask if it really is a problem or if it is in your head :) mums worry too much Pinky. No child will starv itself to death...
Does he have stomach problems? Does he seem well? Any issues at all? Intolerance?
Only offer him good/quality food when he is hungry, no biscuits...
Look how far you have come Pinky, you are able to go to the gym....who would have believed that months ago?
February 23rd is the date, wish it was tomorrow........

No doubt you are worried about your babe Pinky Image
That is good advice Corsi Image
They can be very fussy eaters at that young age and they seem to go through phases of good eating and then not so good eating - maybe a little multi vitamin would help ?
Do you have pain, aching with the hard stools Pinky ?

Pinky, try eating wet mushy foods with lots of water in it. If you aren't already. Something is pulling the water from your stool, or it is not getting there in the first place.

It can take a year for that area to heal so keep that in mind when you have a setback. Just look at how far you have come....going to India, working out. That is all good!
Maybe try a little aloe vera juice or capsules?

Thanks Guys.Even i fail to understand how the digestive system works.I have come far and ofcourse im thankful for it.

Kim-I eat a lot of veggies but not wet mushy foods.i drink lots of water and eat fruits.I dont know why its happening.

Corsi-I am not abnormal in worrying about my baby who doesnt want to eat.I know he wont starve himself but what he eats is not enough for his development.I dont give him any junk food and gave biscuits in the evening as he didnt eat anything else.i give only healthy foods. His birth weight was 3.76kgs and they a re supposed to triple their birth weight by 1 year and my son weighs only 9kgs.All my friends say their babies love food and they are all so chubby. My gp is useless, will talk to the health visitor.he wont even drink milk.
he's a very fussy eater.

Tootie-I am glad to be able to lead a normal life now but its scary and i live in fear of pain.I havent tried aloe vera juice.Ive bought flaxoil but havent used it still

Is the aloe juice bad tasting? Does it aid in digestion?
Pinky - I am glad you are feeling better. I feel better too, but I have major issues with scar tissue at times still. I am hoping all will be better one day. My son doesn't eat that much either. It used to really bother me, but now I am ok with it. He is just small for his age. He just had his 2 year appointment and is 26 pounds. Remember the palm of your hand is a serving size and think of how small their little hands are.

My sweet baby angel was born three months preemie and was extremely picky in her eating, even up to age four. I was scared to death she would be malnourished, she just wouldn't her fruits and veggies. I mean, how far will chicken nuggets, Fruit Loops and peanut butter & Jelly sandwiches carry a developing child? But she's almost seven now, growing like a weed and eating everything she is offered, lots of healthy stuff.
Just because one child is eating more than another and getting bigger, in and of itself, is to be expected in human variation.
But I know your fear and just keep trying new foods and I am sure you'll see adequate growth and development. Take him to a pediatrician for advice and counseling if only to ease your mind, Pinky.
