Aloe vera juice is a very mild laxative. I take capsules so I don't really know about the taste.
My daughter was only in the 10th percentile growing up (at 11 she is at 50%). It worried me a little but the ped said as long as she is following the same path and not going down in percentile not to worry about it. And he worried more that a child was gaining in developmental skills, was learning, taking in his environment and growing that way more than a number on the scale. It sounds like your son is close to tripling his weight? Or is my math as bad as I remember?
Kids go through stages where they don't want to eat or eat one thing. If you give him a few finger foods to choose from-put them in ice cube trays and set them out and let him pick the pace at when he eats and what he eats. You'll find that kids that age seem to balance things out on their own.

Thanks for the reassurance Kim,Jen and Tootie. He's eating a little better now though not good.he hates milk,so i mix it with cereal and other foods.i just leave him alone if he refuses to eat until sometime and try again and eats a bit.he's too active and wants to play and run around all the time.Tootie,he shudve been 11.28 i think but is only ard 9 kgs.ill be seeing the health visitor soon.even im a fussy eater and ate only fruits and junk foods until i met my hubby 14years back.his food habits are exactly like mine.now i think how much my parents wudve worried abt me when i refused to eat.i guess everything comes back in this world.

I apologise for not being much on the board.Ive been occupied with my son and mornings i go to the gym.i get some free time when my son sleeps in the afternoon when i check my mails.i do read some threads but by the time i reply,he wudve woken up and im so tired by evening.i even sleep early nowadays.
My bum feels a bit sore sometimes.im in PMS now.so have to be careful.BMs have been soft the last few days.
ill try to catch up on other threads.

Pinky - I am so glad you are out having fun. Things seem to be getting alot better for you.
Do you ever bleed still? I can't help but wonder if you are having the same scar tissue problems I have. I don not bleed, just soreness.

Jen-I havent bled since LIS.Even i do have soreness and aches sometimes especially now during PMS.I have the horrible sting occasionally which is like a shock wave and i just freeze till it eases.
I think the mag is helping a lot to relax. How bad is your soreness?

Pinky - Our conditions sound very similar. I get soreness and aches after a hard BM, no bleeding though. If I could keep my BM's like mashed potatoes all the time, I would never have an issue, but despite all my supplements, I still get an occassional hard tipped BM. This happend about once ever month-6 weeks. No blood though. I also don't get that horrific sting your talking about. But I am pretty sure your sting & sorness is a scar tissue issue like mine. As you know, scar tissue can take years to form, so I am sure one day we will both be normal.

Hi all,
Its been 6 and a half months since LIS.havent written much lately.had minor ailments for almost a month.I dont feel completely healed and normal with my butt but im happy with it.I still maintain my high fibre diet with lots of water(i dont drink 3-4 lts like before).avoid red meat ,cheese, processed foods and hard foods like crisps.i do indulge in a bit of sweets like cakes and biscuits once in a while.i dont eat bread everyday for breakfast like before and have a bowl of whole meal cereal with raisins, hazelnuts and bananas.seems to help me with soft BMs than with bread.thanks to this board where i learn something new most of the time.i take mag 300mg everynight(very reliable) and movicol 1 satchet at night.
I exercise for almost an hour.just low intensity exercises.avoid the cycle, scared to sit on it.

I still get tensed in the mornings not knowing how the poop will be.I still leak a little after BM and im hoping it will stop.it does irritate my skin and i have to wash again.
I feel loose and find it hard to control wind sometimes esp when im coughing.i once coughed and the wind escaped loudly which hurt a bit and i was scared the whole night wondering how it would be in the morning.i was fine.
Im not able to spend time like before on the board. My only free time is when my son sleeps.he sleeps less during the day and sleeps late at night, not before 10pm.im so exhausted by then.but i think of you all and pray for you all.
Thanks everyone on this board for being there for me when i needed you all the most.I wouldnt have made it without your support and love. Image Image
