It takes a few days for Botox to kick in, around 10days I felt good. I suffer chronic constipation & I forgot to take my stool softener and I paid the price a new fissure. I was shocked I thought I was done with these awful things. I went for Botox again but wasn't working too well so that's when we decided lis was best. I really couldn't go back to the pain I was in it was awful.

Thanks fissure & puzzle :)

Hi Ann, congrats on your surgery. I hope you pain levels have dropped. As for the blood I had it for wks after surgery. Everytime I had a bm I had some blood not much though. I think this is normal while healing I had to put a piece of gauze between my cheeks & it would always be stained with pinkish blood. I think it was 6/8 wks before it stopped completely.
I wish you well in your recovery. Take care :)

I know it's scary but try not to worry too much you had a lot done it takes time to heal. I found my bm was opening my wound everytime I went maybe this is what's happening you too. I don't use any creams at all now. I still take a stool softener.
Be kind to yourself & take it easy.
