- Fissure developed in Jan '13
- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.
- Got botox Jun '13
- Healed by Okt '13, although I still had some irritation for about a year.
- New fissure April '22, healed June 2022
- New fissure 24. December 2023
- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.

I am still beyond words, I am not exaggerating, once you suffer from fissures or any other problems in the bum area you know that is hard to forget.
Healing for me was in stages I know that my fissure was a recurring one, after so many years on and off problems and then finding out that is no hems, I know that is been a long time I had problems.
But never took care of it until last year when it became obvious is was not going to heal.
I will keep my routine and make sure that if it comeback is not because I have forgotten how to take care of it.
Thank you so much for the support.

Hi!
I’m new here and I realize this is an old post but congrats on healing! How long did it take you to heal? I’m going on 6 mos. I had 7 weeks good heal time then boom another setback after thanksgiving. Looking forward to hearing from you and hoping you’re still around the forum and still healed!❤️
