I think 1 sachet is equivalent to one capful of Miralax. I measure mine out precisely with teaspoons. One capful is about 5 teaspoons. Good luck. It says right on the bottle that Miralax causes a person to have more frequent stools. Cheryl

What you describe here is exactly what I experience as well...uncomfortable feeling I think.
I have bought Movicol today since the Miralax bottle will not last forever. Is Miralax and Movicol the same?
About my Fe level, I don't feel as dizzy and I have more energy, but since I eat so little there's not much I can do before I feel completely worn out.
I don't eat solid food before 15:00, only smoothies, nutridrink and 2 eggs. At three o'clock I eat a very small salad, and in the evening I eat something "normal", but "fissure safe".
I know that I eat too little now, but am so afraid to start eating something else...
I am happy I have had the iron infusions, I would do it again if it was necessary. When I was diagnosed with celiac disease my Fe levelse were 3. So happy they are over 180 now, hope they don't drop again. The doctor at the hospital told me to do something with my periods because I bleed heavily for 5 days each time. I don't like to take the pill...
I still take a teaspoon of lactulose with the first and second meals (=drinks), an I take olive oil with every meal, and fish oil with the first and last meal.
Fissy, you can come and take my blood - I can share, but it will be a loooong flight for you :)

corsi, good to know you feel more energetic.if you bleed heavily during periods, you should get it sorted out or else you'll be anemic again.you have to treat the cause and just transfusions wont help if you keep losing blood.
why dont you eat anything solid before 3pm?how are your poops nowadays? Image

I had about 1 1/2 week with little or no pain during BM...now I have my second day with pain, blood and soreness. Image Image Image
I have changed from Miralax to Movical, but that cannot be the reason, can it? They are supposed to be the same?
Maybe 1 sachet (125ml) is less than the recommended dose of Miralax (17g)? Should I take more Morvicol?
It's always the beginning of the BM that hurts most, if I bleed it stings like h...., but it is the initial ripping pain that worries me.
I hate this, and I honestly don't think I will heal without surgery Image Image Image

I believe movicol and miralax are the same thing Corsi !
I would up the dose , I took one and a half sachets for a few weeks after the botox and also started the magnesium citrate which absolutely keeps things soft…
Are you feeling the effects of your botox ?

Corsi, I hate things are going so badly still. Believe me, I know the frustration and the pain! If you do opt for surgery, it'll be OK! I'm sure you will heal as fast as I did and having to come here and vent will just be a memory soon after, you can come just to hang out!
Tabby, I hope the second round of Botox is just what you need. From what I read, it seems your doctor is very afraid of you "jumping" when he sticks the needle, and twilight anesthesia probably wouldn't correct that, you'd still be technically "awake" during the procedure, just unable to remember anything later! Hang tough, cookie!

Corsi,
I agree with Tabby. You could probably take more Movicol.
