oh no, not again!

Postby val » 29 Apr 2008, 11:39

just got back from CRS appointment, he says I have to have another operation. Not really sure what for! He gave me antibiotics and said he could feel it was undulated (think that was the word!) but he couldnt examine me properly with the scope because it hurt too much. Not looking forward to going through all that again! Image

Gosh, Val! I HATE that! You seem to need more information...
But maybe he knows something that will really cure you in the long run. I'd call his office back with questions!
BTW, I love your Snoopy avatar, he's my fav!

I'm not quite sure! Hubby compared it to tiling and said it meant "wonky" LOL!
Maybe he meant it wasnt healing straight because he said it could be scar tissue. I suppose that would mean a fissurectomy then, in that case?

trouble is, I can't afford to go privately again, as we're still paying for the last op, which means the wonderful NHS- and that scares me to death!

I am so sorry Val. I can't believe this! This has got to stop. Was the doctor you saw a private one-the one who did the surgery? What is the next step? Do you have to go to an NHS doctor and see what he says?

Could he have said induration? That is when there is a hardness under the skin. I agree, you need more information. He gave you antibiotics so there must be some consideration of an infection?

Gosh, this just can't be happening!!!!

Yes, he was the one who done the surgery last time, and he's promised me that he'll do my surgery at the NHS hospital, but I just hope he does! I mean, once I'm there, and asleep, there's not much I can do really!!
Thats what I thought, about the infection, but maybe he was just erring on the side of caution. I have to tell myself that because panic has set in really badly!!
