Just had my LIS 4 days ago but I'm in pain the same pain it's used to be only thing changed is I don't have spasm anymore.
I'm on the right track?
It feels like I'm not going to be able to get out of it.

I think that if you're only four days out, you should not worry about this yet. Hopefully, you're just experiencing the surgical pain and will get better in the coming days. Good luck!

it's early days, so try not to worry. plus, LIS isn't a miracle that immediately heals the fissure. it only aids healing. i've read on this forum people healing after 3, 4, 5 months after surgery. then i've seen some lucky ones completely healing after 2 weeks!

... it's been 5 weeks since my LIS and unfortunately i am still getting fissure pain sometimes even though my stools are soft... hopefully we both heal soon!!!

can u please tell us your experience and advices after the surgery ?

I don't remember a lot, because it was about 4 years ago. I know that it wasn't nearly as bad as I had feared, and I regretted waiting so long to go through with it. I also know that I was completely healed at the 3 week mark.

it's my 3rd day after surgery , doctor just put me on regular analgesics which didn't help with the pain , first few times to the toilet after surgery was a nightmare ,i still had to push hard for the stool to come out , i fear going to the bathroom now. im maintaining good diet and laxatives, but it seems its not about the stool consistency ,its like any thing that comes out will hurt no matter what..hope this is just temporary .

hi Naina, im doing ok ,so so ,when the pills effect goes away ,pain starts kiking again,also that small lump irritates sometimes ,i still hate to go to the bathroom and push, those severe involuntary spasms come every now and then and it the worst ..i should see my dr Monday. overall pain is less than first 2 days.
how are you progressing ?

Last night was a extremely hard.
A lil better today.I also got tag removel so that's hurting too.
I still feel that constant poking feeling all the time on the top left.
I just don't know if you can get the tags back after removel

i hope we both get better soon..it's like at one point u feel you getting better,then out of no where same old pain comes back and forth.i got tag removed as well.
i think tag can form again if the fissure stayed unhealed for long time again.
what pain killer are you on and other medicine ?
