Everyone is different, and while I don't know exactly when my fissure healed, by the end of the third week, I was all good. I also didn't really know if the pain for those three weeks was a result of the fissure, the cut in the sphincter, or the surgical incision made to get to it. I hope that you continue to improve and that you're feeling 100% again soon.

So I saw my surgeon yesterday and he says he no longer sees the anal fissures and that it looks ok, that being said im still in horible pain which he cant explain.

I'm honestly at a loss, 8 months of horific pain

One sensation i feel is the left side of the anus is very sensative to touch, meanwhile the right side is perfectly ok.

So confused and lost

Any input is appreciated.

Every time I went to the toliet I was in so much pain for half an hour or so I had to lay on my bed and had to use numbing cream and I had a lump to one side
