Yes ... I'm doing ok thanks ...... I think I'm noticing a "slight" improvement this last week or so. Not sure if its down to the nitro or the fact I've been having reflexology done again. Just before my Botox I was feeling better than I had in ages... And I think I put that down to a course of reflexology I had ... So now I know the Botox has completely left my system, I thought I'd give it another go. I was very sceptical at first, but I did my shoulder in at work... Didn't mention anything..... And at the end of the session she said she had worked on my shoulder for me!! Spooky!!

How are you doing my lovely?? Getting addicted to Jeremy Kyle?? Lol

Hi OMB x
How are you doing now? Has your "slight improvement" continued?
Reflexology is wonderful - very relaxing, so hoping this is something that can really help you through.....
It's quite scary how time flies by as I so remember you coming back and making the announcement that you'd seen Mr Windsor and all he had done was Botox!...I can't believe that those weeks have passed by so fast.
Are you still waiting on a follow-up appointment?

ARG! I think I spoke too soon... Have had a bit of a set back. I had a dreaded second bm a couple of days ago, and have been feeling really sore since. I'm gutted to be honest... I thought I was starting to turn a corner at last.
Hopefully it's just a blip and I can get back on track in a few days (fingers grossed, chuck salt over my shoulder, cross a gypsy s palm with silver, stroke a rabbits paw) :D

Butt.... It's Jezzer all the way love!!! He really says it how it is!

Yes! but you may well still be turning your corner!......Maybe it'll just take a little longer to get round this one and like you say, you'll be back on track again in a few days. Don't be too gutted just yet.
Chucking in a four-leaved Clover too for you for a bit of extra luck! :)
Keep watching Jez........at least he's a welcome distraction!! x x

OMB I'm sorry I havent logged in for a while since was travelling this past month, and just catching up with the thread. So sorry to hear there hasnt been a lot of improvement for you yet. When do you have your pressure test - any idea?

Thanks a lot for all the great advice you kindly wrote for me a month back. Mr W had booked me in for Botox later this month, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to cancel that. Movicol has never worked well for me. I'm taking bisacodyl, but one hard BM sets it off again. Have a plastic sitz bath which i use when I can remember (need to be more regular), drink more than average water but still not enough. I'm going to get one of those squatty potty things from Amazon and see if that helps, and perhaps some aloe vera gel or juice. Lately, the fissure tears every month or 2, although the pain lasts about a week and then subsides (touch wood). Makes me want to wait and try conservative methods before surgery. I did get a second opinion, and this doctor was more positive than Mr. W on LIS for women, so I feel a little hopeful should I decide on surgery.

I am so scared of painful BMs and really want to get on with my life - theres so much other stuff I need to worry about anyway. As do we all.

Take care, and I will be following your recovery...

Ahh.... Thanks for popping in to see me pyra! Lol

I'm glad to see things are gradually improving for you.... I really hope you can get there without the need for any surgery.

Can I ask who the second opinion was with.... Pm me if you don't want to put it up publicly. I'm still waiting for an appointment. It will most probably be in the new year now.

Keep me posted on how your getting on wont you!
