Adding on to my last post, I wanted to ask about IBS. I wanted to create a separate topic, as it is somewhat different. I feel lately that I have the feeling of needing to use a bathroom more than once a day. It's usually while working out or shopping (for some reason). I think I get a little anxious during these activities and am more active, so my bowels get a little sensitive.
It's funny because the sensation goes away sometimes if I practice breathing slowly and deeply, sitting down and relaxing for a bit, or just quitting the activity altogether. Having only one BM a day has been instrumental in helping me heal, so I am trying to figure out ways to limit the BMs.
I haven't been diagnosed with IBS, but lately, it seems like it has become somewhat of a thing for me. Raw veggies just don't agree with my stomach. Then, any anxiety makes me feel like I need to use the bathroom, and it's a fleeting sensation sometimes.
Is there anything they can do to resolve or at least help the IBS, if that's what it is, in these situations?
