Is it healing?

Postby damnfissures » 01 Oct 2014, 07:11

After about 5 months of painful BMs., itchy dilitazem applications and plenty of confusion, my internal AF seems to be gone. Or is it?

This is my current status right for the past 2 weeks:

1) no pain during bowel movements
2) stopped taking dilitazem because of the crazy amount of itchiness.
3) developed a small hemmie that used to come out during BMs but has since disappeared
4) there is a what feels like "extra skin"
5) still taking colace sporadically and have had hard stools but with no pain
6) I am able to sit and walk and have insignificant discomfort after BMs as opposed to before where I was in agony for up to 6 hours
7) still feel that there is a slight tear but it does not hurt me at all

Any thoughts that this thing is healing? Or is it just taking a break and it will come back to haunt me?

Thank you all in advance.

sounds like healing. Stay vigilant as the skin can still be sensitive. My fissure although not completely healed is no longer painful or a problem. It can take a very long time to completely heal. good luck
