pain has been getting less again, still a fair amount of diarrhea tho, i think the baths and nitro help. ive been trying the finger support and breathing techniques. I also eat coconut oil and take amino acids that are designed to heal injury/surgury.

I'm glad the retare wasn't too bad. Baths are wonderful... I couldn't do without them!

Yes, the nitro should still be effective.
Keep on going..... Eat carefully. I know you must be on a restricted diet with your crohns ... So keep a good eye on that and try and get this diarrhea under controll.

Thanks for the advice. tonight i had a bm and there was blood from the fissure which is very rare for me. Do they "scab"? It didnt feel like a retear but im worried there was some damage because im not used to seeing any blood. the following time there was no blood, im a bit confused.

Hi, fissures don't scab. I asked my CRS that question. They slowly close like a cut under a bandage because the area is pretty moist.
