Is there a connection between internal hems (mostly on the left side of rectum) and pain that develops and radiate to left gluteus and left leg after bm?
In April I developed a fissure that bled and caused a great deal of pain. After two treatments of diltiazem and nitro compound in addition of Epsom salts sitz baths, daily Konzyl (psyllium), lots of water and a good diet, a recent colonoscopy showed no signs of fissure but several internal hems, which are the cause now of on and off bright blood I get when wiping and in the stool. After a painless bm, discomfort develops on my left gluteus (the hems are on the left) and as the day progresses the pain (bearable but uncomfortable) radiates down the left leg.
