Thanx GG,
It's just so frustrating I knew this might happen in the back of my mind but was really hoping and praying that it wouldn't.
Let's hope I actually get to speak to him and they don't make me wait the 6 weeks they normally do.

Okk so cannot even get through to the secretary so have left a message...not that they ever call back.
Just had a normal BM only my 3rd normal one since this happened so let's see what the pain is like with this one...if the spasms start I'm going to hospital. If they don't and it's just stinging does that mean that my surgeon will not do anything to help as it's my crohns and IBS that's making this worse.
Ggggrrrr so annoyed lol
Not at work today till 1 today so I'm in the bath and seriously hoping my colon plays nice this time

Left another message...pain after BM is about a 6 but I can feel low level spasms hence the reason for calling them back...goodness knows when they will return my call. Hoping it's this week at least.

I hope that someone calls you back soon! So frustrating to not just be able to get hold of someone who might actually be able to answer our questions!

Tell me about it. I just want to know if it's normal to be having full on spasms 14 days after LIS...tried to explain to secretary just now and she was like well it's probably the cut....errr no that's pretty much healed actually and when I don't eat so don't poop it doesn't hurt at all even managed to sit on it yesterday, but then I had gone 3 days without a BM. Don't think I will get a call this week...will be phoning back Thursday or sooner if spasms increase.

SO frustrating, I completely understand how awful it is to not be able to reach the doctor when you most need them! I would just keep phoning. Maybe try the email route as chachacha had suggested to me? And keep phoning, keep leaving messages, they will get the message that you need to get some answers.

Have done a couple of emails. Will probably phone again tomorrow. Pain after BM today didn't go above a 6 but has stayed pretty much at a 4 for the 7 hours after my BM which hasn't been fun. I really was hoping this would fix things but now not so sure. Just want to get this sorted now....think I may be stuck with this for a long time.

MPB your not alone. The burning and stinging seems to come on out of nowhere
I dont know why either. Only thing I can think of is its not completely healed. Haf Bm for 4th day in a row and no problem. Then several hours later it starts. I dont get it. I did put some nifedipine ointment in
and didnt help so took a bath and that calmed it but was short lived. So frustrating. 25 days after surgery and still having symptoms. Going to keep doing whatever I have to and I guess will have to grin and bear it.
