Hi HTD,
Only improvement is when I don't go to the toilet so I know all the pain is coming from the fissure and not the op. Even with a good BM the pain is around a 7 but does go down to a 4 the only thing is it last for at least 7 hours after which is quite draining. I have lost another 9lbs in two weeks....it's a good job I was really overweight before all this....I'm just praying it start to ease a little as I'm begging to think they did not cut enough.

I do not think you have had adequate recovery time and healing time with the surgery.i am sorry you have lost 9 more pounds. How can we keep your nutrition adequate? How about some hummus and Olive oil or would that be too much.
When is you next check up?
Hang in there sister

Well after 3 days of horrendous BMs I have decided not to eat anymore unless my son makes food....it upsets him if I don't...I'm going to try and get to the docs to inform them that I'm not eating until they give me a colostomy or at the very least find something that manages the pain. So will see what she says. Not pooped in 48 hours so am only in discomfort

Hi Healing through Diet,

I know this diary is from 2 years ago but I'm wondering how you're doing. I'm going through many ups and downs during my botox so I wanted to check in with you to see how you are now. Hoping things are better.
