Katie - I agree completely I have friends with crohns who have the bag and some have issues but mist are happier and live a relatively normal life. Which I do not right now.
GG my GP is totally useless with pain she thinks the person should learn to deal with it rather than medicate. When we are stressed the body releases cortisol which causes all muscles but especially involuntary ones yo tense up and sometimes spasm....this is why lots of high pressure business men have heart attacks for us it plainly goes straight to the sphincter. I have had my cortisol level tested and it is quite high.
Jim even when I had the 10mg of Valium it did nothing for me it's so annoying lol

MPB. Yes Its hard for it to heal when poo gas pee etc keeps putting pressure on things down there. Its to the point for me I just grin and bear it but then again sounds like your pain level is much worse then mine. I really feel for ya.

God thats awful MPB. I sure hope your doctors can get you past this. I still have discomfort but nowhere near the levels you are having. 30 days post surgery for me and Maybe a 2 on the pain level. They told me Ibwiuld be fine after a week well BS I think doctors tell there patients that to make them feel better as well as themselves. As long as my symptoms dont get worse I am not going to the doctor so they can get more money out of me just to tell me give it time. Uggg

Really sorry to hear you're still suffering MPB.

My GP has a similar attitude to yours to regarding pain management (indeed I get the impression he feels AFs are trivial matters!), perhaps you could make an appointment with another GP at your surgery? If you don't get any joy at the gps maybe A&Es your option? Either way, you can't go on like this!

Try and keep your chin up!

All the very best,

Hi Mr F, I used to have a lovely GP he himself had had a fissure but he left this time last year and since then my new one has been less than useless. I will do AnE if it gets to a 9 again.
Thankfully the spasms seemed to stop after around 10-12 hours this time which is way better than the 24, but still not great. I'm very sore this morning but think that is mainly my hems and skin tags as my worst two hems are nearly as long as my little finger and wider lol. Did put the colodial silver on there and it did help a bit. But I have to go to work in 15 mins and there is no way I will be able to get comfortable.
Phoned dr no appointments today so will try again tomorrow.
On the plus side I didn't have to go to the toilet again and I did manage 6 hours sleep so with fingers crossed and a lot of luck my colon will play nice and things may have a chance to settle.
