Hi girls
Katie sorry to hear you have to take antibiotics...I dread having to take them as they always make me go loads, strange how we all get affected differently.
Becka, I ask mine to use an anoscope as to be honest I always find them more comfortable than people's fingers...they are thiner than most men's index finger.

Hi Katie,
Oh no Hun it's awful when it's like that. To be honest it does get me down as this is my second year not being able to join in any of the celebrations, yes I can sit with family n friends but I can't eat or drink anything Christmassy.
Don't be scared about your op Hun it will stop your pain and set you on the road to healing, try and think that by spring when the weather is better you will be back to your old self.
It's hard not to get down when everything around you makes you realise your butt is stopping you joining in but it won't be like this forever Hun x

im so sorry Katie that your feeling that way its not a nice feeling and you do feel very alone with it, I have a lot of bad days and having depression doesn't help either! this will be my 3rd xmas in pain but the way I keep thinking is its better that last year was, its hard on a normal day but occasions like xmas are harder hun so I do know how you feel and your not alone, its about trying to stay positive and every day that goes by is a day closer to your surgery and I know that scares you but please remember that it will help you and hopefully this nightmare will end, if you ever want to chat hun I can pm you my number, sending you lots of hug xxx MPB that's not a bad idea I will mention that to them x

Merry Christmas girls hope you have a lovely time with your family Hope it's as pain free as it can be lots of love me (katie)

Today as not been to bad went to the toilet first thing, a bit of pain but it's gone now went out for breakfast with my family I just feel like I want to to go to the toliet all the time! !! I think it might be the antibiotics! The doctors said it can make things softer/windy etc! Hope both your pains are ok xx

Merry Christmas to you too Katie and to you MPB! Hope you both have a lovely day and enjoy it as best as you can :) Katie I think it could be the antibiotics they tend to upset the tummy, hope it settles down for you! I've had a bit of an upset tummy the last 2 mornings but it's meant I haven't had to strain so it feels a bit better than usual xx
