What laxative do you use? I'm on molaxole which makes my stools really soft but I still have to strain to Finnish!

If everything had gone smoothly I would prob have gone back to the gym at week 3 instead of week 5 lol. I have kids so there was no actual resting went round Asda the next day and did washing teas all normal mum stuff really from day 1. My hems were a bit swollen but I went back to work on week 3 and was glad I had given myself 2 weeks off as I sit a lot at work. I think the main thing is making time for sitz baths as they encourage healing especially in the first couple of weeks.

I tried them all lol. But before my flare I didn't really need painkillers...I took 2 cocodamol the first night then nothing till my episode on day 6/7. I'm sure you will be fine with your gabapentin Hun as that is the only thing that has worked on my spasms

You probably won't even have to increase it Hun. This will all be a memory for you by may....not long now, if you can tell them at pre op that you are willing to accept cancellations I was in 3 days after my pre op as someone cancelled coz they had cold lol

Yes I was so pleased I'm at a big teaching hospital so lots of chance for cancellations but I did have to mention it to them as I think they assume people like more warning than 3 days...I was like hey 12 hours warning would be fine for me lol

Oh as far as the stool softners go, you're probably fine if stool is soft. You likely have to strain because the sphincter is a little tight - that's what LIS will help! That's what I'd say anyways.

I used miralax/restoralax when I was taking painkillers, but don't need it now as I have the opposite problem!
